Are you ready for some Basketball?!
With tons of requests to add bball to our ever-expanding list of fun sports we offer, we're, again, adding another sport!. We've heard you, and are very excited to announce the start of Basketball for SBS. Get on board quick though, this league is very limited for space!
We figured the best way to start this sport off would be with some outdoor leagues. Playing outdoors takes us back to being a kid. Just shooting some hoops in the nearby park.
League Details:
Locations: Moakley bball courts in Southie, near the JFK T stop. (steet parking and T accessible)
Dates: Mondays nights, starting June 21, running for 7 weeks, ending on August 2nd
Times: Game start times between 6pm-8pm
Sport Details: (full set of rules will be posted soon)
5v5 coed recreational league. 23 minute running time halves. Team size is 8 players. You may add additional players up to 12 on the roster. There must be at least 3 females on the roster with at least 1 playing at all times.
More Team & Fee Details:
Individuals are invited to sign up as well as whole teams. Every level.
Basketball is only $80pp! Players over 8 are discounted down to $40pp.
