Ready for some beach volleyball in Boston?! We're setting up the fun down in Southie on Carson Beach every Sunday starting July 11th. Get your tan on WHILE you are being all social and sporty in Boston. (did ya catch what we did there?)
As with every sport SBS runs, it's coed volleyball. Levels welcome: "I can sort of hit the ball okay" -to- "I'm a beast on the court". Well, let's face it, it's the beach - you can't beast the beach. Try your jump-spinning spikes on the sand, and you might jump a grand total of 2 feet.
Come out and enjoy an incredibly fun league with SBS and have a ton of fun with your friends and friendly opponents.
How is the game played? There will be multiple games going on at once. Games will consist of 2 teams playing coed 6 on 6. Time slots will last approximatley one hour with games played as best 2 out of 3, scoring first to 21 each. There will be a referee to manage game play and keep score.

FAQ
1. Are SBS sports very competitive? SBS strives to maintain a social and recreational sporting environment. While there is certainly a fair level of competition, we discourage aggressive play.
2. How do I sign up? Are there spots left? To sign up, click on the registration link. If the link is available, sign ups are still open.
3. How/When do I pay? After you have completed your registration, you will be sent to paypal to complete your payment. To fully register, payment must be received immediately following your registration form completion. The system will not accept your entry without payment.
4. What if I don’t see a particular shirt size in the registration form that I need? Just email us the size, and we’ll see if we can order it. (must be at least 3 or 4 weeks prior to league start)
5. How do I submit my team name? Please email us this information prior to the start of the league. 6. Is it mandatory to attend all games? It is mandatory for teams to be represented for ALL games. Please plan accordingly. A team that does not show up affects other teams being able to play.
7. I’ve played before, but I am not very experienced. Can I still play? Sure! Our leagues are designed to be social and recreational in nature. There is a wide range of abilities represented in our leagues. They are not meant to be intensely competitive. Practice makes perfect!
8. After I sign up, when should I expect to receive more information for the league? We send out information emails about 1 week before the start of the league. Note: certain requests (i.e. shirts) sent to us within three weeks of the start of a league may or may not be able to be fulfilled due to timing issues. We will do what is possible to accommodate.
