Justin graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Economics and Finance. After spending 6 months in Vienna studying German and Economics and going on weekend trips to the Alps, Paris, Oktoberfest, Budapest, Prague, with the Wirtschaftsuniversitat's Buddy Network he came back to the States. Working for Red Bull, North America; serving as a Resident Assistant; and organizing pub crawls for his senior class inspired him to create an organization for people living in Boston to come together through athletic activities, social nights, weekend trips and everything in between; thus: Social Boston Sports. In his spare time, Justin loves to ski, mountain bike, play lacrosse, swim, go sailing, kayaking, and generally be active.
Brian Shaw, Co-Founder, Vice President, Operations and Financials

Brian graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Finance. Prior to his involvement with starting Social Boston Sports, Brian was a director of the Bentley Entrepreneurship Society. In his spare time Brian enjoys snowboarding, boating, traveling, going out in Boston and spending time with friends and family. Brian currently works as an Operations Analyst for an Assisted Living management company.
Frank Knippenberg, Co-Founder, Vice President, Marketing

An expert on all things Boston and marketing, Frank Knippenberg is an
important addition to the SBS team. As Field Marketing Manager for Red
Bull, North America, Frank established a reputation as a visionary
marketing strategist and event management specialist. He has closed
endorsement deals with high-profile Major League Soccer and Major
League Baseball athletes. Frank made a name for himself while starting his career when he
was part of the team that launched the Hartford Wolf Pack, an American
Hockey League franchise, in just four months, after graduating from the
University of Hartford in Connecticut. Frank is currently Director of
Events for TrinityOne Worldwide, a sports & entertainment marketing
company in Boston.
Crystal Hammond, Event Coordinator
Originally from the Mohawk River Valley of upstate NY, Crystal graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Applied Mathematics. As an active member of her college community, she found herself involved in many different organizations. Most notably, Crystal helped to bring the Ski Club from its infancy to its status as the second largest group on campus. Once the word got out about Social Boston Sports, she knew immediately that this was the group for her. In her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling and drinking exotic beverages with friends. She loves to be outside and active in almost any way possible. Crystal also works for Liberty Mutual as a Group Market Underwriter.
