FAQ:
Q: Is it ok if I'm just starting to run? What is the skill level I have to be at to become a social runner?
A: Social Running is just that; social. However, this does not mean that it's only for beginners. At the start of each run the SBS Running Guide will group everyone according to running ability.
Q: What time are the runs?
A: To allow you time to get out of work and get ready for the run every run starts at 7:00. Please be there on time; although our SBS Guides will wait 5 – 10 minutes they will not wait longer.
Q: Where are the runs located?
A: All the runs will be located within Boston conveniently located on or within walking distance of public transportation.
Q: How long are the runs?
A: Each run will last no longer than 1 hour and will be 3-4 miles in length; starting out with easier routes.
Q: What if it’s raining?
A: Social Running isn’t afraid of a little rain. If it’s raining we’re running. However, if there is lightning we will cancel the run in which case it will be rescheduled towards the tail end of the session.
Q: Is there a place to lock my stuff up for the run?
A: Unfortunately we have yet to come up with a solution to this problem. Therefore, we ask that you come ready to run. SBS is not responsible for any lost or stolen items that are left at the start of the run.
